The Definition of Metaphysical BooksWhat to expect in metaphysical books and those we have
Since there seems some confusion over what a 'metaphysical book' is supposed to be about, just like the confusion surrounding those spiritual, spirituality and spiritualism books, the following definitions should help clarify the matter. While the following is about metaphysical books, the others are described in Spiritual Books. Often it may seem these terms mean about the same thing but there are differences. Even though they all have something to do with the spirit world, they could be from either a religious point-of-view or philosophical. Still, these descriptions don't help much... especially since metaphysics can be addressed in many different ways. Often however, when a book is being referred to as a 'metaphysical book', it will have something to do with the spirit world but usually not from the point-of-view of any organized religion ... whereas one might expect it within a book dubbed a 'spiritual book'. Metaphysical books are generally philosophical in nature and more-or-less 'scientific'. Furthermore, one always wonders what the underlying theme might be in a metaphysical book. It isn't always obvious at first. People with spiritual persuasions, a belief in God, worry about that, not wanting to read about some seemingly evil and/or bizarre concept. As to our books (see below), while metaphysical in nature, they are neither mystical, scientific or religious. Well, perhaps our book STD LEX is kinda mystical but any book utilizing 'spiritual logic' would seem to be. At any rate, neither book has any 'agenda'. While it becomes clear the author has a strong belief in God, that's the extent of it, no beliefs are promoted. One way to describe our books is to say they are 'metaphysically spiritual'. In other words, even though the author has a belief in God and Divine Creation, he doesn't fully subscribe to any religious point-of-view and only a spattering of what the scientific community contends.
