Add My Book (modified January 1, 2008)
Notice to authors… advertise your books here at the
special reduced rate of $4.00 per month... where the
top spot is rotated weekly. This does
not include processing orders but we'll post the information you supply which will direct buyers wherever you want. It's easy and hassle free.
Contact us soon because we plan to limit the number of books displayed. For
those who take advantage of this rate, it will never increase.
- NO CHARGE during the set-up month and
FREE the following month. If you don't
like it, don't pay anything... you'll only be removed, no questions asked.
- As illustrated in our Guest Authors Showcase
webpage, we’ll provide the space for a small picture of your book along with
your sales pitch (about180 words). Since we are an advertising medium only and do not process orders,
we'll post the hyperlinks you provide which would re-direct buyers to any
website of your choosing (where they can place their orders). Instead, or in addition, you may include phone numbers and/or
a mailing address in your ad. Even though we don't process orders, arrangements can be
made for us to field orders and pass them along.
- NEW CONCEPT: Positions will be rotated
each Sunday (new additions will be placed in 2nd position down and weekly the
book on the bottom will go on top, moving the others down one). Rotation is
fair to everyone.
- SIMPLE: If you remain satisfied towards the end of your
free month, just pay us for the next three months in advance ($12.00) and you can quit
anytime by simply not paying, conversely, we simply
drop you if you don't pay. To collect payment (for us to continue
featuring your book), we'll send you a PayPal generated email bill (with
credit card payment options). If this billing method is new to you, see PayPal's
overview-demo
of an email bill. Or, if you prefer, just mail us a check... semiannual or
annual payments also accepted.
- We will not consider books we deem distasteful and will not post offensive language.
How it's done:
- Simply tell us which website to retrieve a small picture of your
book-cover and we'll go find it, copy, resize and paste it here. Or email us
one. For conformity, we'll resize to 100 pixels wide although heights may vary
slightly. Sorry, we can't accept a picture in the mail or a faxed picture
because we are not setup for scanning.
- Your text (sales pitch) will be put in the space to the right of your
book-cover picture. It doesn't matter which font and size you send however,
your font will be converted to Arial, size 10 (like this you're reading now).
- Your sales pitch can be modified anytime by emailing us the ENTIRE new
text whereby all we have to do is copy and paste (no typing will be done on
our part). In case of typos, we'll make exceptions. We'll make these changes
for you within 48 hours.
- It's easy and there's NO FORMS TO FILL OUT (our email
correspondence will do)
What you'll get:
- Real value... our monthly fee of $4.00 equates to less than .02¢ per
visitor (based on the average number of visitors who view the Guest Authors
webpage monthly)
New (additional) feature:
As an additional measure to help you promote your book we'll also post excepts of
your choosing up to the equivalent of two chapters for a one-time fee of
$10.00... see book samplings
